#471 Tourmaline**
This is a natural tricolor tourmaline crystal from Paprok, Nuristan Province, Afghanistan. This crystal is dark green at the base which grades into a lighter green center section with a pink cap! (The base may appear black in the photo, it just darker green at the base not black). This type of tourmaline is often called watermelon, but this is not technically correct. This crystal measures about 1 3/8" by 1 1/4" by 3/8". This crystal has a very interesting, complex single termimation and is intact! About 30% of this crystal is pink and 70% is green. It is gemmy and has moderate clarity.*-
