Beautiful, sparkly druzy quartz crystals coating chrysocolla. The chrysocolla is then a pseudomorph after malachite, and the malachite is a pseudomorph after azurite or possibly gypsum. Specimen measures approximately 102 x 76 x 38 mm (4 x 3 x 1 1/2 inches). This is from Tenke-Fungurume, Lualaba, Democratic Republic of Congo.

This is a section of a water pipe from Carlsbad (Karlovy Vary) in what is now the Czech Republic. Cut into a thin slice and polished, it shows a thick accumulation of Aragonite - about eighty years' worth.
