Charoite is a beautiful mineral, charoite is usually violet or purple in color, with inclusions of black augite or white feldspar. Charoite is formed when limestone has intruded a syenite massif. Charoite has been found only along the Chara River at Aldan in Sakha Republic, Siberia, Russia. This piece is 2" long. It comes on a waxed linen cord that is adjustable in length.
