This is a natural bicolor tourmaline crystal from the Himalaya Mine, Mesa Grande, San Diego County, California.  This type of tourmaline is often called watermelon, but this is not technically correct.  This crystal measures about 1 1/4" by 7/8" by 1/2". 19.4 gr. This crystal has a very interesting, complex  single termimation and is intact.  About 30% of this crystal is pink and 70% is green.  It is very gemmy and has moderate clarity.
